Almost 500 people came to the grand opening Thursday of PPF Gin and Warehouse. The PPF Gin and Warehouse, at 700 FM 1335 in Cooper, opened its doors to the public for the first time with a grand opening celebration.

Texas cotton company bases operation on vertically integrated poultry model
Todd Rushing has been growing cotton in northeast Texas “for 20 or 30 years, through a lot of ups and downs,” including battling boll weevils, farming through dry years and wet, and always wary of the cost/price squeeze, which has gotten tighter in recent years.

“This is going to be the most state-of-the art and most recent investment in agriculture in a 300 mile radius in the last 25 years,” said Pilgrim on the over $5 million ginning and warehouse company in Delta County.
